Aryx Quinn vs Flash LaCash, Heel Bash 5 (BG East)
After almost a decade-long absence Aryx is back at BG East, thirsty to kick ass. His opponent, Flash LaCash, is no shrinking violet, however, and possesses a hard ass to kick. He, too, is thirsty for a no-ref fight, especially taking on fellow bad news Quinn, a god in his heyday, keen on reclaiming his BGE diadem.
As advertised on the BGE website, opening shots consist of extreme closeups of Aryx's tasty (and prickly) thighs, pecs, abs, and biceps, for 150 seconds. It's impossible not to want to put lips to them. When Flash enters the ring in pink-zebra trunks, Aryx tells him he (LaCash) was on the top of his hit list, alluding to some unfinished business between them.
Aryx talks like a car salesman or a TV sports commentator - a throaty baritone that proclaims his authority and mega-masculinity. The guy has been around the block, and his edge is rougher than ever before. He and Flash compare biceps and then clasp hands over their heads and bump chest to chest in a test of strength that puts Aryx on his back on the mat.
Flash gives Aryx the business for the next four minutes, but then Aryx reverses, with flickering abdominals filling the screen. Four minutes later, Flash reclaims his alpha status, backing Quinn to the turnbuckle, holding him in place by the sole of his (LaCash's) boots. Flash holds the lead for the next twelve minutes or so. Then, Aryx, his tan glistening with sweat, launches a vindictive counterstrike.
If grit is what you're hungry for, you're in the right place. Here are two sweaty and chiseled pros going at it in a ring, nothing shy or tenuous about either one of them. This match is the good old days resuscitated. These two are ring devils, among the best.
