Tyson the Hammer vs Harvey Dale, Match 852 (UCW)
Harvey Dale is ready to fight. Tyson is a sure win - after all, the man is a former UCW champ - but Harvey is determined to make a good first impression. This match is fresh, and by that I mean it happened last week. We're not looking at a match that's been tucked away in a vault for months. You can almost smell the sweat.
Harvey poses no serious threat to Tyson, but the new kid definitely likes to play rough and tough. Tyson likes and respects the guy's spunk. To an extent. Then, a line gets crossed and Tyson goes into demolition mode. The back and forth in this match is exciting, though sometimes careless. But who wants a "tidy" UCW match, anyway?
Playing rough is what draws wrestlers to UCW. But they have to be worth their salt, and though Dale has far to go, he is definitely worth his salt in this fight. Tyson proved his worth years ago. In the end a figure-four choke forces a tap out - but the victor won't let it go - he's got to make his adversary suffer just a tiny bit longer. That's spunk.
