Bo Bearly vs Roberto, #101 (UKWH)

Studly babyface Roberto signs on with UKWH in this David-Goliath match with Bo Bearly, who looks like he snacks on hot-bodied gym rats like Roberto. Bo knows the ropes, and Roberto is game for a faceoff, incautiously game, one might argue.

The new ring provides space for the action. The wrestlers play off the ropes and have plenty of room for launching themselves against their opponent. Bo is contemptuously amused by his challenger, who, he assumes, is still wet behind the ears. Roberto is cautious but obviously unintimidated by his opponent. The pace is slow, a little too slow, I think, but the differences in size and ring experience make the measured pace almost unavoidable.

Bo gives the rookie plenty of room, opening himself up for all that the new hire has to show for himself. At one point, Bo invites the new kid to pick him up and power-slam him to the mat. Roberto accepts the challenge, perhaps at some cost to his vertebrae. Roberto soon shows that he's got the muscle and know-how to compete - but he's up against a giant here, who's fully capable of canceling Roberto's wrestling career before it gets started.
