Shotgun Tony Gunn vs Certified Luke Curtis, OVW TV 1234 (Ohio Valley Wrestling)

Hats off to the big men - broad shouldered, thick waisted, working class heroes ornery as fuck. Seconds after the bell sounds, both wrestlers are drenched in sweat in a whirlwind match that seemingly can't stop going round and round (the last GIF above is not the end of the match). I love this kind of brutal buffalo brawl.

Experience (40-year-old Gunn, in long tights) faces posturing new kid (29-year-old, Curtis, in short tights). Gunn has been wrestling for OVW since 2011, and Curtis, since 2022. Despite differences in age and experience, these two suit each other in style and persistence. There's nothing particularly pretty about either of them, but their raw tempers and concussion-inducing assaults kept me hard for the whole 12 minutes.
