Red Redemption vs Nero the Beast, #114 - Title Fight (UKWH)

In his first UKWH appearance, Nero aims high, challenging the UKWH championship belt holder (Red Redemption) to a title match - in his FIRST match for the company. At UKWH every fighter is a heel, like almost all the American promotions, so it would be a stretch to view Red as a bastion of patriotism and fair play. He gladly accepts the challenge, oblivious to the risk he is taking. He wants to kick Nero's ass. It's a miracle if he can do it. All the good money is on "the Beast."

The fight is sketchy at times. Neither man is on the up and up, and their bodies are not well matched. Still, it's a matter of interest whenever a big shot from one promotion invades another promotion, especially since Nero's goal is to claim the topmost tier for himself. Red hasn't held the championship for long, but past matches demonstrate his toughness and willingness to toss out the rulebook, assuming the company has a rulebook. Both men's territorial instincts are in high gear. Their ambition blinds them. It's hard to say what I hope the outcome to be. I am aghast at both men's chutzpah.
