Nero the Beast vs Grizzly Jim, #116 (UKWH)

How did UKWH let an American steal its highest, most revered title? Nero took home the prize in his first match for the company - like taking candy from a baby. In this follow-up match, six foot, 270-pounder "Wild Man" Grizzly Jim enters the ring to reclaim the belt for the UK. In tip-top shape these days, Nero is not about to give it up without a fight. Going from push and shove to crippler mode, each wrestler does whatever is necessary to win this fight and save face.

I appreciate that neither man is ready to give up turf without a fight. Jim uses his extra pounds to great advantage. He's hard to budge, and his weight is a valuable weapon, slamming down on the American like an avalanche. I'm no fan of Nero's, but the guy is undeniably a force to reckon with. He's undaunted by his opponent's size and weight. The match is give and take from start to finish. It's over and done in the final two minutes with a decisive painful pinfall and three count.
