Josh and Raphael

Josh vs Raphael, Mat Mayhem, Parts 1 and 2, specifically Part 2 (WrestleFrat)

This is a fine black-box match that's cut in half, but both halves together cost $27, a steal, given how steadily the match rises to its climax. Josh and Raphael (in the blue trunks, initially anyway) take turns dominating each other, and at the fight's peak we have the actions captured in the GIFs above. 

By this point, both wrestlers have stripped each other down to posing straps and glisten with sweat despite the pitch-blackness of the fightroom. Having been bludgeoned into being Raphael's bitch, handsome Josh - not just handsome, this guy can WRESTLE - strikes back with such energy that it sucks the rest of the battle into its black hole. 

Is my partiality for Josh obvious yet? This reversal can stand alone as THE major turning point of the match. Raphael releases a beast. Of course, Josh has shown promise in other matches (and under other names) at various promotions, but this explosive turn lifts Josh to superstar status. (He has been moving in this direction for a while now, but this match seals it - or so my gaga mania tells me.)

An earthquake of this magnitude is sure to reverberate in Josh's and Raphael's next few matches, even as they face different opponents. I can't wait. Josh, in particular, is ready to go further, to what heights and catastrophes I cannot yet imagine.
