Back in the days when bad guys like Schmidt were irredeemable (and effective), when wrestling time on the tarp equaled time on their feet, when most pro wrestlers were 30 or older and few were under 25, when pelvic thrusts were legitimate strategies, when wrestlers were thick, when fans decided for themselves who to cheer for, when fans actually watched the fight, when everybody believed the fights were real (including the wrestlers themselves sometimes), when the world's second most famous Nazi was a French-Canadian wrestler, ....








That arm bar flip, or whatever it is, into a headscissors in the third gif is pretty slick! And that was a very interesting reversal on the ground in the fifth gif. Definitely moves I wouldn't mind seeing today's underground wrestlers adopt. And ever since Chief Jay Strongbow, I've loved a good knee lift, which Orton sells beautifully in the first gif after a great whip into the ropes by Schmidt. Thanks.
