Flame vs Dragon, Mat Wars 185 (Thunders Arena)

Trained in the punch and kick style of Taekwondo, Dragon knows he can take down the bigger and heavier Flame. Dragon picked his name as a tribute to the movie Enter the Dragon and its star Bruce Lee. Flame draws his name from what kids are told not to play with - fire and matches. Don't mess with Flame if you don't want to get burned. 

This is both Flame's and Dragon's second match at the Arena. They collide quickly out of an animus that is instinctual and automatic. Initially, I was on Team Flame, since burly gets me every time, but ultimately Dragon's vigor won me over. The guy is agile and reckless. The match is unwieldy at first - I suspect because both are new to Thunders Arena or because it takes time for them to navigate each other's body. The final minutes, though, are classic, pure gold.
