Monstah Mike vs Kirk Donahue, Leopard's Lair 8 (BG East)
Kirk is not heavily built, but he is a gifted bruiser. Respected as a ringmaster, he started out as a sturdy opponent - sometimes a babyface, other times a bully. His ring persona swings from brute to victim. Probably he's best described as capricious - impulsive - and, at times, whimsical. Mike enters the ring and focuses on Kirk's new beard: "Did you hit puberty?" Mike, too, is something of a mystery man - his eyes hidden behind darkened glasses, his trunks a vibrant deep pink. Flexing his biceps, he coos, "You got your hands full today, buddy."
Mike poses for the giant mirror beside the ring. He ignores Kirk's insistence on getting the match started. "I don't feel like wrestling, actually." Kirk taunts him. Mike leers at him as he removes his glasses. Kirk teases the man, extending his hand for a lockup and immediately pulling it back. Mike seizes Kirk's hands and forces him to kneel at his feet. Instantly, raw agony flashes over Donahue's face. Mike continues to drive Kirk to his knees. Six minutes into the fight, Kirk turns the tables on Mike. Mike swoops in and swings a hard right fist, but Kirk ducks under it.
The mayhem runs back and forth. Mike plays rough. His goal is to smash Donahue. The maneuvers roll in like waves. A bearhug almost snaps Kirk's spine. Mike dominates for the next thirteen minutes. Then, Kirk craftily turns the table on Mike - a low blow, actually two low blows, the two fighters collapsing in agony. Kirk recovers first. Immediately, he takes advantage of Mike's impairment. At one point, he tap-dances (seemingly) on Mike's balls.
Does Mike recover? I won't say. Check the still shots above. Do they look like Mike recovers?
