Both men climb on top of each other in efforts to restrain the opponent and maintain a vantage point for attacks. They manipulate their opponent, primarily through pain and physical control. The intricate entwinements keep bodies in tight close contact. LaChance's sweaty body bears down on Characi's. Gradually Chace subdues his opponent and grinds him to submission. Characi's tactics are nearly identical, but ultimately he fails
