Axel vs Jayden Mayne, Match 614 - Lost Video, Ball Bust #10 (UCW)

Match 614 hits pretty much just the one note, but the one note is a stunner if you're up for that sort of thing. Jayden's treatment here at the hands (knees, and feet) of Axel may explain why Mayne's not returning to UCW in the foreseeable future. The 31-minute custom-made video gives us one last (presumably last) look at Jayden at UCW, so I shall savor it while I can. It's really too bad things didn't work out better for him (reportedly, he no-showed one too many times); he is an able performer with the kind of face that telegraphs his lust for a good brawl. Axel scores big as a heel whose wrath Jayden instinctively triggers. The video is splendid for what it is - it does exactly what it's supposed to do - yet some tight closeups of the ball busting, along with even a hint of sweat, might have made it a classic of its kind. (For me, however, the benchmark is still last year's Chase Michaels vs Max Ryder slammer. But this one comes in as a close third ... after Joker vs Angel Estrada.)
