Muscle Beast vs Jorge and Butch-J, Special Edition Muscle Beast Part 2 (Wrestlingmale)

The idea of Muscle Beast taking on a small troop of daddies is genius. In physique and temperament, the Beast is exactly the type to draw the attention of men of a certain age who have an eye for ambitious and broad-shouldered younger men. Given his stats - 6'3", 231# - there's enough of this hunk to go around. 

Part 2 picks up where Part 1 left off. Having eliminated Etienne Erik and Biohazard, Muscle Beast is left in the ring with Jorge, the masked Spaniard. The Beast is on the verge of finishing off the last of the daddies, when Daddy #4, Butch-J, enters the ring and attacks him from behind. At first, MB alternates between fending off one then the other, but soon finds himself having to take them on together. At this point, he starts to feel the delayed effects of taking on so many challengers. The battle is give and take between the Beast and the combined forces of Butch and Jorge. Fatigue is the German strongman's biggest adversary, though Butch-J is a definite menace, too, as strongly built as the Beast, albeit not as tall or as heavy. 

The German and the New Yorker have faced off previously, notably in Paris War 8, a more interesting match, in some ways. Muscle Beast and Butch-J bring up the best in each other in and out of the ring. Their moments together are atomic - and mouthwatering. Technically, however, Part 2 is somewhat inferior to Part 1. The camera angles are superb, as usual at Wrestlingmale, but the editing is distracting - rapid cuts and split-screen effects - too much, in my opinion. I prefer the single-take matches, whose continuity and limited perspective make me feel like an eye witness. Although the body strikes are often less than convincing, the two-on-one attacks are spectacular,  veering on the surreal at times. The payoff in the end works fine. Through it all, the herculean Muscle Beast is amazing - both as a physical specimen and as a Grade-A bully.
