This Is a Man's World

Let this sink in: All ten GIFs above chronicle events from the first three minutes of Wrestler4Hire's latest squashterpiece. During the next 18 minutes, things get worse and worse for Bobby Bryce - stiffer, louder, meaner, and wetter.

I used to dislike squash jobs. They struck me as lazy, a one-man show that required no skills from either wrestler. In many cases, I was right. This, however, is a two-man show with two talented ring psychologists. Beckham is a cut and nasty heel, and Bryce is a miraculously expressive jobber.

Whatever Beckham vs Bryce lacks in suspense, it makes up for in intensity. Both wrestlers sell the simple scenario (a one-way road to catastrophe) to the limit, embellishing the narrative with S&M themes, so well assembled here as to be mesmerizing. In the end, Beckham puts his victim out of his misery, but the punishments up to then are executed with precision and a taste for senseless cruelty ... and sold by Bryce with a full grasp of their injustice and pain.

  1. WHat is DJ Beckham Jr's wrestling name in the indie scene?

  2. Great write up and images. Squash matches definitely require a mastery of skill on both sides. DJ Beckham and Bobby Bryce just entered the hall of fame level with this match! Dimitri, Brendan Byers, Elite Eliot, Chase Adams, Gabe Steel, Flash LaCash and Johny Firestorm are all great heels and I find Dante, Marcus Ryan, Brad Barnes, Joey McCoy, Chase, Cameron Mathews, Kasee and Kirk Donohue to be fantastic jobbers. What do you think? Who am I missing?

    1. He has fought twice at Wrestler4Hire under that name - https://wrestler4hire2.com/. At the moment I recall no other matches featuring him under any name.
