Built for a Belt

Muscle Beast vs Derthal, Paris Rough House War 21 (Wrestlingmale)

This is a highly anticipated follow-up to a 2018 contest (Paris Assault 7) that won Derthal the European Competitive Iron-Man Championship belt. Muscle Beast wants this belt, convinced (with good reason) that it should be his. Despite dramatic differences in proportion, both wrestlers are well muscled and well experienced in ring competition. (The original contest, which I probably ought to see too, involved mat grappling.)

The event is set in my favorite Wrestlingmale environment: the bleached white crevasse, a mesh of artist's loft and Asgard. I am, as you may know already, in Muscle Beast's corner. His deep husky victory cry and agonized moan, barely distinguishable from each other, match the ferocity of his hairy and overbuilt (6'3", 231#) physique. He overwhelms 5'7", 170# Derthal in all but confidence and grit - and Derthal has already beat him once.

I enjoy the smothering and struggling as the two bodies writhe, grinding against each other, the mat, and the ring ropes. Though necessarily labored, the reversals are good enough for me, but mostly I love the tight, desperate clenches.
