The Zen of Zane

Jesse Zane vs Scott Riley, Catalog 26 - Muscleboy Beat Down (MuscleBoy Wrestling)

MuscleBoy promotes a variety of physiques and wrestling styles, from coquettish to mad-dog, but the house style is what I call aggrosexuality. MuscleBoy's pulse is pretty much the invention of Jesse Zane, who shook my concept of underground wrestling in one of his early matches at BG East, years ago. Nobody rides the cusp of aggression and seduction better than Jesse Zane. He throws himself into every MBW match with a full clip of libido and combativeness. He merges the two so well it's hard to say where one ends and the other begins. Fondling turns to choking - and vice versa - in the blink of an eye. Often they are inseparable.

Jesse is always cool and in control, demonstrating self-restraint under the most stressful circumstances. He doesn't just wrestle; he gets inside wrestling, becomes one with it. In this one respect he reminds me of top-shelf underground wrestlers like Kid Karisma and Jake Jenkins. While less accomplished wrestlers perform attacks and holds from memory, Jesse submerges himself in the moment and works on intuition. A wrestler had better be on his toes when he steps on a mat with Zane.

Handsome Scott Riley follows up his 2020 match against Jeremy Daniels (highly recommended, too) by taking on the man, the legend, Jesse Zane. He's bigger than Jesse and holds promise of big things ahead, but he's mostly overwhelmed by Jesse's cool strikes and head for strategy. At the end of this 48-minute bout, both men are stripped down to shoes and kneepads. The cum shots at the end are logical extensions of the gut punches early on.
