Kayden Keller vs Gunner Baer, Wrestler Spotlight: Kayden Keller 2 (BG East)

Kayden Keller is now one of three BG East stars to have a second Wrestler Spotlight, along with Donnie Drake and Austin Cooper (who has three, deservedly). Having one is a high honor, but more than one, and you're the Meryl Streep of BGE. I congratulate Kayden on the honors heaped upon him. He's had a great run these past seven-plus years, and it's always good to see talent and perseverance rewarded. In Spotlight #2, he takes on three challengers: Gunner Baer, Grant Connors, and Buck "Wildcard" Carter.

Each new challenger poses his own kind of trouble - Gunner, his "godlike beauty"; Grant, "trained competitive wrestler"; and Buck, "a thick muscle stud with muscles on top of muscles." BGE touts the trilogy as a "gauntlet," each stage a significant test of Keller's prowess and toughness. Two ring matches bookend the one mat match, and each match has something unique to offer.

The "godlike beauty" is familiar territory for Keller, who has skinned the pretty off notable beauties, three in a row in his first Wrestler Spotlight, against Carter Alexander, Kirk Donahue, and Richie Douglas. Gunner Baer fits in with this group, both in looks and in certain doom. There's something about him that reminds me of the posing-strap hunks that graced the pages of Physique Pictorial in the 1950s. Square-jawed, with high cheekbones and loosely molded muscles, he's the sort of beauty most wrestlers would like to get their hands on. Kayden backs him into a corner in a flash, with one vise-like hand at the throat. Kayden is all over him, only briefly letting Gunner up for air, and even then he seems mainly interested in letting Baer dig his own grave. Before the video's midpoint, Gunner has spent all his chances of getting the upper hand on Kayden, who ultimately finishes him with a figure-4 headlock.

Kayden Keller vs Grant Connors, Wrestler Spotlight: Kayden Keller 2 (BG East)

Keller faces Grant Connors in the BGE mat room. I glimpsed these two warming up for this match when I visited the BGE body shop in Florida in 2018. Here we first see Keller warming up. Then the "competitive wrestler" enters the room. "Very very nice," Keller coos, encouraging Grant to show off his curves. The two have barely locked up when Kayden snags Grant in a side headlock, but Connors reverses, straddling Keller's midsection and tacking the wrists to the mat - classic (sexy) schoolboy pin. Connors is tough competition, tapping Keller out with a classic body scissors - and that's in the first three minutes! Oh the shame Keller must feel at this moment! The situation gets worse when Kayden has to tap out again 90 seconds later, caught in Grant's camel clutch. Then, a couple of minutes later, Keller taps out of a chest-to-chest bearhug. For sure, Grant poses a greater threat to Kayden than "godlike" Gunner did. This middle match is the closest of the three, composed of a whirlwind of reversals that continue to the final minute, when Keller suffocates Connors in a tight, sweaty, and dare-I-say throbbing finisher, after which Kayden hoarsely exclaims that he has "big plans" for Grant.

Kayden Keller vs Buck Carter, Wrestler Spotlight: Kayden Keller 2 (BG East)

Buck Carter finishes the triptych by finishing off Kayden Keller in the ring. "How long has it been since I've had a proper challenge in this ring?" Keller muses, while waiting for Carter's arrival. That's a dude-you're-gonna-get-it-now line if ever I heard one. Wimp Warning: Keller's diehard fans may need to cover their eyes through most of this fight. Wrecking-ball Buck rolls into the ring, looking and sounding like he owns it. He sums Kayden up as a "little lanky." Buck begs KK for his best shot. Keller nearly busts his knuckles against Carter's hard-shell gut. All Keller's assaults look paltry. The ring explodes, though, when Buck tears into Kayden. Before we're even a third of the way through the video, it looks like Kayden Keller is finished. He's just a rubber sex toy for the rest of the match. By the halfway point, Buck has worked up a sweat you can almost smell through the TV screen. He has also stripped the trunks off Keller and himself. This is "dick wrestling" at its merciless best. Does Kayden get a hope shot? Well, not really, unless Kayden was hoping to shoot a load as Buck's  hairy thighs clamp on his upper body and then hoping to get drenched in Buck's salty spooge minutes later.
