Rome vs Cason, Halloween Havoc 2021 (Thunders Arena)
Cason wears a skull mask and leather motorcycle gear. Rome is in the pumpkin mask and gold trunks. Rome has a distinct advantage in muscle and fury. New to the Arena, he is somebody to watch in the coming months. Thunders needs more beefy rageaholics. Cason is the calmer, more technical fighter. Though one of the company's handsomest stars, he knows his way around a wrestling mat and can dominate even a wrecking-ball like Rome.
This is one of the Arena's best Halloween treats. Cason and Rome pound muscle and succeed in connecting one ass-kicking to the next. The result is a more than usual coherent fight story. Blood (theatrical blood) is shed when Rome cuts Cason's forehead fifteen minutes into the twenty-seven minute match.
The catalog description tells us in all-caps that Cason and Rome "DO NOT GET ALONG." I'm not sure whether the play-acting or some behind-the-scenes tensions are being referred to. If the former, Rome's drumming of Cason's chest (the GIF above) is the feud's dramatic high point (and the reason I downloaded the video). If the latter, Cason's occasional no-sells may be related to those tensions.

I've been a fan of your blog site for a long time but never commented on any of your posts before. It's amazing sometimes how closely aligned what you like about wrestling mirrors what I like about wrestling, so I wanted to give you a heads up about a few of matches that you may not have seen and haven't written a blog post about. They are all Thunders Arena matches. The first is an old one "Devin vs. Michael Crowe". I know you have seen other Devin matches, but this one remains my favorite. Michael Crowe was a fitness model, good looking, lean and ripped, who you know doesn't stand a chance against the mighty Devin. It's a fantasy scripted match that ends with Michael Crowe's foot on a moaning Devin's ass - victory flexing. The next match is Rome Vs Iceman. Two big muscle men wrestling for alpha male. This is an incredible match. Rome represents for me the perfect specimen of he-man maleness, so his ultimate defeat and humiliation by Iceman is explosive to say the least. He really sells it with some pleading and begging that seems to be genuine. You gotta see this match!. The last one I'll mention is Rome vs Bolt, a big vs small match, which has Bolt completely dominating the big man. I am a fan of big vs small matches, but only the ones where the little guy dominates and humiliates his bigger opponent. I'm not a fan of squash matches where the little wrestler is thrown around like a rag doll. So those are my recommendations. Check them out. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
