Joey Nux vs Johnny Greco, Wrestlingmale Conquers 2 (Wrestlingmale)

In a bold I-drink-your-milkshake move, Wrestlingmale invades the underground wrestling scene in America. Relatively speaking, it looks like a friendly invasion, with BG East lending its facilities for Wrestlingmale to pit two borrowed wrestlers, Joey Nux (of Wrestler4Hire) and Johnny Greco (of MuscleBoy), in a mat-to-ring contest. The fusion works beautifully, though through a fog of déjà vu. It's great seeing Wrestlingmale's zoom shots and slo-mo camera in the BGE mat room and ring. And Nux and Greco are a big-vs-little booking I can get behind.

Beards and tattoos make the wrestlers look like kin, though size makes it easy to distinguish who's who at any point in both mat room and ring. I like that the brawlers are barefoot in both settings. I do get gear fetishes, but they're not my thing; my fetish is as much skin contact as possible. Greco and Nux alike have been and still are fixations of mine. Their wrestling is adequate, but what gets me is the attitude. Hairy-chested Greco has spunk. He's unintimidated by bigger, more muscly opponents. In fact, he appears to seek them out, though not often successful against them. Nux is smooth but hard. The haircut screams "wild man on the loose." He looks like a trouble, and he is. He looks like Hercules as a motorcycle gang leader.

The mat action is fun, nothing to be taken too seriously. Nux dominates 99-percent of the video. Greco's cool demeanor offsets Nux's swagger nicely. Both wrestlers get better with each new match, so it's good timing to bring them together now.
