Tyson the Hammer vs Mikey Cannon, Match 836 - Strip Match (UCW)

Mikey's been getting flung every which way these past three months. The tall, lean, and wet-behind-the-ears newcomer has been dismantled by Anton Alvarez, Max Ryder, and now former UCW champion Tyson. His endurance and unshakeable faith in his wrestling abilities make him, the very image of a "tall drink of water," likeable and likely to climb still higher in months to come. Right now, he's paying his dues, since there's no way he's getting past Tyson intact.

This is my favorite Hammer match ever. Tyson doesn't toy with his ambitious opponent. His aim is to destroy, no doubt because the new kid may stand in his way for another shot at the UCW title, which Tyson must surely have his eyes on. Mikey doesn't get many licks in; Tyson won't allow it, putting Cannon in the uncomfortable position of being the Hammer's bitch-boy for 25 bruising minutes. Mikey pays his dues well - a little wobbly now and then, but he's getting better, and he's no worse than the contenders who preceded him. Meanwhile, Tyson swallows big scoops of Cannon and licks his chops.
