Tanner Ripley vs TrevThor, Grudge Match (Underground Wrestler)

TrevThor and Ripley engage in what I think must be their third match this year at Underground Wrestler. There may be no end to the grudge they hold against each other. I only wish the camera moved in closer on the action because I would love to see Tanner and TrevThor at each other's throat up close, grimacing, gagging, gouging. Closeups plop viewers into the fight, sharpening the sense of tumult and the eye candy.

I want this battle to continue indefinitely once a month and intensify over time, especially as the wrestlers acquire new techniques and new reasons to beat each other up. My theory is that the more two wrestlers fight each other, the sharper their skills become. They learn each other's weaknesses and take advantage of them. Not only do their wrestling skills sharpen but also their grudge gets stronger, fiercer, and (if I ruled the world) dirtier.

  1. Your observation about camerawork is something that’s been on my mind for several months in regards to “underground“ wrestling scene.

The majority of the companies seem to be timid with getting closer to the action… oddly.
Some of the matches over at Weekend Wrestling are better in this regard but overall most cab only achieve a C+ on camera work.
