Padlock and Playboy

Edi Xhepaj vs Playboy, ZMAK Wars 2023 - 12 March 2023 (ZMAK Wrestling)

Thank you to the unknown wrestling fan who brought this match to my attention. It features challenger Edi Xhepaj (pronounced ch'pize and nicknamed the Human Padlock - for obvious reasons) and the unofficial champ Greek Playboy in a two-out-of-three match to decide who will be the new ZMAK champion. Xhepaj, in gold tights, requested the 2-3 match style to ensure the event's integrity. Playboy, in black, reluctantly asked his minions Ninja and Marcellus not to interfere in the match - they did, however, or tried to, but Pambos Pallikaros chased them out, returning a favor Edi did for him at a previous event. The match (especially zipper-popper Xhpaj) is pure hard-on heaven even though I'm not well acquainted with ZMAK or its roster. 

Both men are raw as bone in a 24-minute match that covers a lot of ground rapidly. Edi and Playboy have brawled out of the ring at events leading up to this showdown. This is Edi's first attempt to win a singles title. He is a little older than his opponent, and his methods are more scientific, less rash. Playboy lives up to his ring name, vain, egocentric, and undeniably sexy. So, of course, the crowd hates him. When the promotion's co-owner extends his hand to him, Playboy slaps it away, evidently because the man ordered Playboy's manager, Mistress, to leave the premises. Playboy is hot tempered and rash in his judgments, qualities that helped him to reach this moment in his career.
