Marius vs Muscle Beast, Tetralogy Muscle Beast 3/4 (Wrestlingmale)

Marius is the fourth and last of the challengers Etienne handpicked to wrestle Muscle Beast. In many ways, he's Etienne's most daring gamble. Forty-four-year-old 5'7" Marius has a 38% win rate, while 6'3" Muscle Beast's is 74%. Both of Beast's championship belts are at stake, Etienne is taking a big chance in backing Marius, but he seems sure of his pick. The rest of us wait in agonizing anticipation.

Muscle Beast is cocky and vengeful and German - qualities some of us like and some of us don't. All in all, he has a bad reputation, often criticized for not taking the sport of wrestling seriously. and resorting to dirty tricks and muscle poses. French-born Marius fights freestyle, by the rulebook (usually). In Etienne's eyes, he represents the French democratic and cultural values the world admires. A win against Muscle Beast would be Etienne's personal triumph as well as the nation's.

The stakes are high, and the match opens with Beast's pompous display of muscle. Marius is less than impressed. When Beast strikes a double biceps pose, Marius climbs up his back and applies a rear naked choke. Beast shrugs him off like a jacket, lifts him up, and smashes him against his outstretched knee. Then, he picks him up, applying a reverse bearhug, so tightly that the Frenchman's ribs might snap.

Nevertheless, Marius proves to be a surprisingly durable opponent. He fights fire with fire, but he can't get past Beast's bulk. Beast flings the Frenchman one way and then the other. Though unable to repay Beast accordingly, Marius eventually uses his opponent's height and weight to bring Beast belly-down on the floor. This turn of events gives Marius room to wage war on the champion, with quick strikes that weaken and (he hopes) conquer the Beast.
