Percy Austin vs Forrest Taylor, Catalog 1 (Wrestle Studs)

Forrest Taylor and Percy Austin take it nice and slow in this match, letting fans luxuriate in every move and on every pain-streaked face. This is the first time I laid eyes on Percy. He has heel potential, to be sure. He hogs half of the action in this match, humiliating Forrest. Forrest gives as good as he takes and delivers some of the most bone-achingly bits in the match. So don't let anybody tell you Forrest isn't resilient. Most of the match takes place on the ring floor, and the ring ropes might as well not exist. These young men are not here to turn backflips and dive off the corner ring ropes. I am 100-percent for wrestling on canvas - or grass, for that matter. I love a horizontal fight because it lets wrestler studs crawl over each other.
