Legend vs Romeo, Submission 46 (Black Wrestling Network)

Like most BWN battles, this one is part of a larger narrative arc, but it works solo as a submission match. The setup has Romeo (in yellow briefs) commissioned to retrieve Legend (in black), but Legend doesn't want to go where Romeo's going to take him. So Legend sneaks up on Romeo to nip the conspiracy in the bud, and the two wrestle to multiple submissions on the mat. For the most part it's straight-up sub wrestling, ending in a knockout. Best yet, Romeo's and Legend's are two of the tightest physiques at BWN, and in my opinion Legend has one of the hottest face and body combinations in underground wrestling.

Obviously, it's Legend who's object of my fascination and lust. Damn, just look at the screen shot below. To say the guy is gorgeous is only the start of it. I love his attitude, his roughness on the mat, and his sells. I love the righteous indignation in his vendetta in the larger story line. In the last GIF above (far from the end of the match, by the way, which runs for nearly an hour), he turns Romeo's face to the camera and talks directly to Candyman, the villain who sicced the muscular henchman on him. "This one of your workers?" he taunts both men at once. "One of your little servants?" He drives his fist into Romeo's ribs, then turns his attention back to the absent Candyman: "This is how you was a couple of weeks ago," referring derisively to an earlier incident in the story cycle.

Romeo's part in the conflict is significantly underrepresented in the GIFs. This is not a squash job. Romeo is more than capable of holding his own in a fight. He's caught off-guard here, but he does fight back. Having sold out to Candyman, however, he deserves both the humiliation and ass-kicking Legend is here to serve up. And Legend, rest assured, gets satisfaction for the foul machinations set against him.
